Best single sided pad on the market. Good rebound, tone, functional & very quiet, improves skill quickly. Worth buying stand for 7” (they only make one for the 7”) but stability good on its own. Recommend also 6” & 12” add range & variety of speeds & bounce practice. Certainly upgrades playing skills.

Great pad !

I got this drum practice pad mainly for the size & so I could mount it on a stand. It is well made, quiet enough & has a nice stick rebound, I use nylon tip sticks, I now have several different practice pads & this one is my favourite, highly recommended, thank you.

Does what it should

Quiet enough that the wife doesn't complain whilst watching TV, more than can be said for my banjo playing. Perfect though on the pricey side for what it is
