It might be fine for removing rough edges or do a tiny bit of removing sharp edges on a small goat or mini hoof but I thought it would help with a bit of shaping on a horse hoof and it does not. The idea is good and I love the idea of 'hand held' but the rasping surface is not quality to do anything other than maybe smooth a rough edge.Read full review...

Not novice friendly

Tried using this on my pony. It is not for a novice for sure. Maybe work better for a farrier. Defeats my purpose.
