Small and perfectly formed
I only came across the tremolo arm spring on a Youtube video and having a Mexican made Stratocaster meant the spring was not included. Most people will find the small amount of play in the tremolo arm annoying. I had thought about all sort of fixes, but then came across the video and understood the importance of the spring. For just a few cents, the spring transforms the tremolo arm action making it smooth to operate with no annoying wiggle room. Needless to say, I am very happy with the result. So you can raise either end of the nut to a variable amount .. the correct way to do it.
The whole nut shims sometimes supplied with the lock nuts raises the whole nut and this rarely ever necessary. Most common is just shimming for the low E .. and or a thicker shim for the low E and a thinner one for top E because of string thickness. etc etc.Read full review...
