It is vintage.
The package stated made in USA. This bridge is made from thinner gauge metal than the original on the Squire VM Fretless bass. Therefore, be ready to do a setup, at least string height...not a bad idea anyway. It fits exactly into the pre-existing holes after taking off the old bridge. The main reason I purchased this bridge was to be able to better align the strings between the pickup poles. The vintage bridge satisfies that objective. If you're happy with the string spacing on the original Squire bridge, I would not recommend changing it. Other than the spacing issue, the original bridge works well enough, in my opinion.
