Questionable quality.
Could do with more than 4 lower fixings when fitting using the sandwich method and not the upper screws. it would also be useful to be able to remove the mesh for cleaning.

Fiamma vent review
For the money this Fiamma vent is a well worthy addition to the campervan.
I have it placed above my sleeping area so that I can get a supply of fresh air in to the van.
The bug screen is a bonus as it stops them getting in the van.
But you will have to from time to Time unscrew the big screen and clear the dead insects out.
Small price to pay for not getting bitten to death.

Good design. Can drive with it slightly open and that gives good airflow in the cabin. No water leaks when fitted correctly. I used non setting mastic which makes fitting easier.. It works a treat arrived inbox wich had been opened looks as if some one had fitted it before and returned it marks of felt tip pen and scuffs on plastic inside sleave was hard to fit but got there in the end. Aerodynamic and secure.
This vent is more secure and less likely to crack than the previous 'pop-up' vent.
It should be more aerodynamic and as it's hinged, unlikely to be ripped off if left up when travelling.
Minor down side is that you need to source yourself the self-tapping fastenings, which in the instructions (available online on the Fiamma website before buying) are given in ISO metric dimensions, but I've only found them in imperial ('gauge') dimensions!Read full review...
