Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey

This book is a whole approach to personal finance. It is very detailed yet entertaining. It makes budgeting fun and inclusive for the entire family. The information on how to get out of debt and stay out of debt is not typical of other of the same type of books. This book has information on insurance, home buying, budgeting, wealth building, investing and so much more. Dave Ramsey makes the complications of personal finance simple to understand in this book. It is a great book. I highly recommend it for anyone especially those just starting out. I believe in this book so much, I have purchased several copies for family and friends. Dave teaches the basic money knowledge that all of us should have acquired somewhere along the way but didn't! A very common sense, straight forward approach to achieving financial peace. Real life examples throughout the book demonstrate just how naive most people are when it comes to their finances. Dave puts matters into their proper prospective and does an excellent job of telling us how to lay a solid foundation for our financial well being. Book was a complete waste of time to read.

I have been hearing about this Dave Ramsey and his great books on line. So I decided to see what all the talk was about.I bought this book and one other one which I have not finished. Anyone with a 8th grade education can read the book because it written in simple language. But it really has nothing new to say and talks to the reader like the reader has no sence at all. There are no new or useful tips that a person can use to get themselves out of debt. I feel it is total waste of time to read.Read full review...
