An overlooked classic that's worth hunting down on CD
boy,the world has changed.this recording is from the glory days of Southern Rock, when there were plenty of good ol' boys who understood what rockin' was-The Allmans,Skynyrd,Marshall Tucker Band,The Outlaws, and the CDB.Charlie was what we Yankees used to call a "Redneck Hippie",kinda in both camps at the same time-kind of what America used to be,before the phrase, "for us or against us" was taken so literally.i've been looking for a CD edition of this one at a manageable cost, and it took awhile, but i'm very happy with my purchase.this record is a great mix of Country and Rock, with only one misstep("No Place To Go"),and a couple of true classics("The South's Gonna Do It Again","Long-Haired Country Boy"),along with some serious guitar and fiddle playing and a great live version of "Orange Blossom Special".a crucial recording for the genre, and therefore for rock history.Read full review...

The only place left to go
My brother in law wanted this CD. It had to be a cd. I looked everywhere for this cd. It's nowhere to be found. Im not kidding. Try to find it. You will see that it's, for some reason, a very rare CD. But when all else failed, I turned to e-bay and BOOM!!! I won the auction and my brother in law is a happy....brother in law.
This taught me a valuable lesson, I always start my search for something I need on e-bay first. Why? Because retailers stink. they are usually 25% higher than a winning bid on e-bay. I need that 25% to put gas in my car.Read full review...
