Not what’s depicted

Contents are great. I was led to believe it would come in a soft case. It did not. Hard plastic. I ended up using a smaller soft case I had. Works great now in my back pack.

Non brand name kit.

I have a trauma kit that I always carry in my car. It is for major emergencies and is a little pricey.

What I need is something better than a Bandaid "boo boo" kit. This 299 pc outfit is just what I am looking for. It's very complete for handling minor wounds and other emergencies.

I particularly am glad to see a good supply of pain medications, wipes and lotions, antibiotic creams and so on.

There are a few items I would add to my personal kit:

3 days worth of prescribed meds
2 water bottles
A 20 cc plastic syringe to help wash out wounds
A black fine point marker and a small notebook
A small flashlight.

I would have preferred to have brand name bandages but I tested a few and found the ones supplied to be good for at least one day and they held up to water pretty well.

This is first aid ONLY. Cuts, bruises nose bleeds .. etc only. That said, it is a good value and will keep the kiddos tended to at the lake or stung by a bug.
