Ford locking fuel cap

Part fits as advertised, Ford part number so it is made for this application and not a cheaply made imported product.
Only minor issue, not even much of a problem, was having to use the key to lock it back up when reinstalling cap. Some locking gascaps for normal applications just push on without the key and are locked.

Fits perfectly, but didn't solve my "check engine" light problem.

This locking fuel plus gas cap fit my 2014 Edge perfectly and it came with 2 keys which I liked. The main reason I bought it was in the hope that the plug would solve my "check engine" light problem which I attributed (after reading many similar complaints on the Ford forum) to the capless fuel system since the light seems to always happen after a gas fill-up. A code reader said I had a minor air leak; and my mechanic said that usually means a loose gas cap (which I don't have!). Unfortunately for me, the plug cap did not solve my CEL problem; but I'm still pleased with it. At least it still keeps dirt and dust out. I think it is of good quality and a good value. Extra protection from dust/dirt

After traveling dusty roads on vacation I noticed that dust collected around the gas receptacle on our Ford. The gasket on the fill door doesn't seal well enough to prevent fine dust from entering.
