Great product at a reasonable price.
Worked as expected, and nice that it was EOM. I actually had local Ford dealer install, and the cost was just under $100. YouTube has videos on how to install it yourself if you are comfortable prying off a number of the internal panels.
A number of “OEM compatible” products are available for quite a bit cheaper, and I saw mixed reviews on those. When dealing with brakes, and many thousands of pounds of trailer and load, spending a $100 over the life of the vehicle seemed a good investment.Read full review

FORD OEM Trailer Brake Controller
OEM unit so plug and play in exsisting harness. Excellent price, dealer quoted over $150. Installation is not dificult, but your onboard software still needs to be programed to recongnize the controller once installed. My dealer cost was about $90 dollars.
I programed using the free FORSCAN software and a $20 dollar OBDII to USB cable. Lots of Youtube videos to walk you through the process.Read full review

OEM Traliler Brake Controller
2018 Ford F150 XL STX TBC install. Arrived promptly and as described. Included factory manual install instructions. My truck did not have the Mcase 30 Amp fuse but did have pins at the #24 position. Installed fuse after confirming power available. Utilizing factory repair manual instructions and You Tube videos I was able to install. After dealer programming truck is ready to tow. It works and as described
As described, it is a Ford manufacturer part and fit perfectly. You do have to reprogram the truck if you are adding it in. Replacement it should be fine.

Nice to use OEM
OEM. Installed easily, just 15-20 minutes. Then the programming was only two settings in about 3 minutes. I am happy. Truck MUST be programmed so if you cannot do that then the truck will not know it is installed.Read full review

The real deal
This is a genuine Ford part; not a knock-off. It took a little while for me to install because I couldn’t find instructions on my year Expedition on line. However it fit perfectly for that “Factory “ look and worked well after taking to my Ford Dealer to have “Fordscan “ run on it (This is a must or your vehicle won’t recognize it).Read full review
