Great tool, but can be dangerous.
It did what it was designed for. However can be a bit dangerous if used in tight situations. Just like a skill saw. it can catch on something and pull the trimmer head away/run out on you.
In my experience while trying to eliminate the stumps of some 1"-2" diameter trees that had grown up near a chain link fence I bumped it against the tree on the wrong approach while spinning and it "took off" & tore a couple of very clean slashes in a chain link fence post. Upon inspection, the cut heads were all in tact an solid and still kept cutting afterward. But the saw did need sharpening as it was not as efficient after the fence pole contact, yet still finished the task and a few dozen more cuts I had started.
Be sure to wear safety gear including safety glasses, heavy pants/jean, and steel toe shoes.Read full review...

The quality and price were very acceptable but the daily use was agrivating in use.
The attachment points to the staps on the belt rotated and the straps were near impossible to keep straight and were uncomfortable to wear when twisted.
They were always twisted because of the attachment clips unnecessarily rotated.Read full review...

Rips through vines and branches with ease. Easy to sharpen.
The Forester Brush Blade is the one to get if you are going to be cutting mostly thick vines and branches. It sharpens easily with a chainsaw file. While it goes through woody stuff great, it also cuts grass, weeds and plants with ease. For my purposes, the Forester Brush Blade performed much better than a Stihl brush cutting blade.Read full review...

Works good, but might not be able to use your guard.
This thing is great. Cuts really well and you can resharpen it pretty easy with hand files. It's thicker than other blades and a little heavier so it doesn't flex at all. It pops branches just like the saw blade kind and it will also saw through thicker ones if you need to. It does have more friction than the thin kerf blades so slows down faster in the big stuff, but I had no binding issues. I have to run this without a guard because it's over 8 inches. It's not a problem. Cut brush steady for about an hour and blade worked great and stayed sharp the entire time on first use.Read full review...

A Beast of a blade
Blade arrived super fast from MGB. Took 15 mins to switch over my string trimmer to house this beast of a blade. You will need the adapter kit for the conversion. This insane blade will go thru anything that lives or grows so be very careful. Also if you sweep right to left only that will give you the best control of cutting. Likewise cutting small to large branches cut them in the 9 - 12 o'clock quadrant to avoid any kickback.
This blade cuts with deadly ease. Will go thru soft woody branches 1 full inch or less in less than 1 second literally. This will leave you a lot of time after you are done also! Im in love with this beast.Read full review...

Best produce I've found in a long time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so handy to trim small bushes. It is WONDERFUL. I bought an extra blade to just have in case!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about this blade. I saw workers cutting brush across from my home and I ask them what they were using to cut so easily, and they showed me, and I immediately came in and ordered this blade. I am so happy with this product. The service and delivery were FAST!!!!!Read full review...

Cuts Great
Does the job without any issues. Was able to cut thru 2 to 3 inch saplings without any problem once I adjusted to how to use it.

lightweight and easy to use
hooked it up to my weed Wacker and it tears brush down that I never thought would come down. Keeping the blade sharp is the key. I highly recommend this product.

chain saw blade
Works ok but tends to get dull kind of quickly. Not like a conventional blade and better on actual coarse brush not grass as much. Cuts trees down but blade has to be sharpened extra once you get it. use a stay kleen spray for lawnmowers to keep your blade clean. Reduce pitch buildup on bladeRead full review...

Blade was a great help in clearing some land.
Blade was a great help in clearing some land. Went through 1-2" trees and shrubs like butter, also cut through trees up to 3-4" by cutting two sides. My weed-eater was 28cc when it was recommended to be used with 30cc or higher, didn't seem to matter. Not to be used as a replacement for regular weed-eater line, only for thicker brush.Read full review...
