Just what my boys' wanted

This Xbox One game has all the fun for a boy or girl to enjoy if they love cars. From the beginning where it opens up with a race to the small details in each and every car, everyone will love to check out Forza Horizons 2. Forza has other products out there that are top notch and this one is too.

The graphics are phenomenal, when gameplay begins, it takes you to a car that you can inspect both the outside as well as the inside before jumping in and racing a race. It takes a little bit of time to get down the steering but after you figure that out, be prepared to have fun. Not satisfied

When I got the game I was very excited to hop in right into the game. But as I take the disc out the box, the disc seems to be very much streaked. It is streaked meaning I wasnt happy about it.

One of the best race games.

One of my top 2 favorites of seven xbox one race games I play. Great graphics and scenery, very good car steering response. About ten times superior to the xbox 360 version in graphics and steering response. I like it as much as the forza horizon 3 I also have. The graphics are very close to as good, although it's an earlier game by 2 or 3 years. It's relaxed fun, while offering just enough challenge to keep your interest. Not a game that takes itself too seriously like f1 2016 which goes too far with endless qualifying laps that seem to take all day, and minute car setup details (causing me to quit f1 2016's career mode and just do quick races.) This is the definitive racing game of the current and next generation Xbox Console. If you are a die-hard simulation Forza Motorsport fan this game allows you to kick off the training wheels in the difficulty menu. For those casual racing fans that enjoy an arcade style, more forgiving racing experience, feel free to turn on all the assists that you want! Over 200+ cars give you a choice unlike any other open world racing game EVER. The open roads of France and Italy are truly marvelous, and when I say "open" I mean everything is open, feel like plowing through a vineyard and earn wreckage xp for it? Forza Horizon 2 lets you do that. The music is amazing, a big step up from Motorsport 5's classical one music clip soundtrack. As you complete championships you will unlock more and more Horizon Festival radio stations. If you love cars, beautiful places, music, and most importantly fun, you must buy this game and take in that amazing intro before entering car heaven. I almost gave this game a 4/5 because of the "Storm Island" DLC. I thought it would be just another lame car pack but I was dead wrong! For 20 bucks more, believe me you are getting a mini Forza game within the main game. A very large island to my surprise, gives you six new cars and trucks to play with and also features a dozen more championships to compete in. Enjoy the game and would buy a Forza Horizon 3 should it come to pass.

Goods
1) Great line up of new and old cars. All the great Lamborghinis including Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo, Aventador, Veneno, and Huracan! Two great Paganis, Cinque and Huayra, plus the McLaren P1, F1, and MP4-12C. There is a car for every taste in the game. 2) Wide open roads with lower traffic than Horizon 1. 3) Entertaining plot line. The antagonist is a nice guy rather than a bad guy. 4) Great voice acting.

Others:
1) More buggy than first Horizon game. You can often crash into invisible objects on the side of the road where there is nothing. The game sometimes freezes, or the cars and environments become clipped...cars falling through the Earth, sinking through pavement, etc. 2) The setting of Europe is actually pretty boring compared to the drama of Horizon 1's Colorado. It's pretty much the same old rolling hills, one after the other, blah, blah, blah, followed my some quaint representation of various European cities. So much beauty and variation to be had in Europe, yet none of it is in the game. Bummer. 3) Would still like to see more cars. The list compared to Forza 4/5 is still pretty short. 4) Environmental effects aren't in the xBox 360 version. 5) Can't sell Barn Finds. 6) Too much off-road racing. Nobody is going to race six-figure exotics on dirt roads. Ever.

Sum total, this game is awesome and beats the other current racing/sim options with a free-roaming framework hands down. However, the game is still not as good as the first Forza Horizon.Read full review...

This game does not have tracks. You drive in a "free form" manner driving through the countryside. This is not what I was looking for. However, my son enjoys it so I kept the game.
