Nine Inch Nails at their best
A magnum opus. And an absolutely essential purchase for any fan of industrial music. It genuinely does not get better than this 2-disc album.

The Good, The Bad, The Fragile.
I've been an occasional fan of Nine Inch Nails for a number of years, owning both The Downward Spiral and recent With Teeth albums. I decided to take a punt on The Fragile after finding a reasonably priced copy on Ebay.
Over the two CDs, there are some definate standout tracks with such as 'The Wretched', 'We're In this Together', 'The Fragile', 'Even Deeper', and 'Into The Void'. Though apart from the immediacy of 'Starfuckers Inc', many of these tracks tend to reveal their true depth and appeal over several listens - which is not a bad thing at all.
There are also a number of instrumental tracks which can add to the overall atmosphere of the album. 'The Frail' is a great, sparse, piano led track that acts as an introduction to 'The Wretched', seemlessly blending into to the latter's opening piano melody. However many of the other instrumentals tend to meander along, stretching the listener's enjoyment by recycling a riff or melody - 'Just Like You Imagined', 'The Mark Has Been Made'. 'I'm Looking Forward to Joining You Finally' is my least favourite track, being a fairly long, bland, empty listen.
There is 1 CD's worth of great music on The Fragile, unfortunately padded out with superflous, bland tracks over 2 CDs. However those tracks that do stand out make this a worthwhile purchase.Read full review...
NIN quality
I purchased this cd having never heard even one track from it but was reccomended to buy it by a friend. It truly is a fantastic melow album from the mighty Trent Reznor. There is a song for everyone on this album and the songs are all writen and performed with pure energy and a realistic look on who and what we are rather than the more common and all to boring love songs we have all become to familiar with in all forms of music. I reccomend you definitely buy this album and add some more meaning to your life!Read full review...
Very good!
Good album with some perfect tracks (where is everyboby and starf..kers inc). One of their best! However, I would prefer if the album was not so long (2cd).
Own it!
Cool!
I wanted it for "The day the world went away." and I'm really pleased with the album. It reminds me of my time in Australia in 2000 where Triple J played it all the time!!.
Dark as usual but hey, that's why you buy NIN isn't it?Read full review...
