Frida is a very personal look at Frida Kahlo an artist and personality of the first half of the 20th century.
Frida was a very liberated woman long before it became fashionable. Immensely strong willed the story takes you through her journey from young student who suffers from a terrible accident leaving her in bed for months, to see her battle her pain and turn to painting.

Salma Hayek plays the title role capturing Frida's strength and passions.
Hayek has a brilliant supporting cast that play the larger than life real people in Frida's life.
