Easy to replace, did the job and breathed life into 1995 Suburban 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive system
4 wheel drive went out on my 1995 Suburban 3/4 ton. Low range was working at the transfer case but not sending power to the front wheels as the 4 wheel drive floor indicator wasn't lighting up. Figured it was at the front axle actuator as they are prone to failure. Easy way to test is pull it out but leave connected and engage 4 wheel drive to see if plunger extends or not. When I pulled out my old one it was at an angle and didn't respond to any transfer case selections. The new one seems to be of okay quality and was mad easy to install. It screws right into the side of your front differential with one connector to plug in. 4 wheel drive reliably engages and disengages every time now. Read full review...

Is it in good quality l don’t know yet but only time will tell. I just received it yesterday.
The first one I ordered work for a few times although it took about 30 seconds to engage and then it stopped working. so a.m. auto replaced it and I installed it and it is still working but it takes about 45 seconds to a minute to just engage, I don’t know if this is normal or not. it’s not like my old one that came with the truck it would engage within 3 to 4 seconds and lasted over 25 years. It’s doing ok. Tested it before installing worked ok. Took about 30 seconds for 4WD light to come on. Put some auto sealant round threads. Make sure to secure wire with zip tie.
