**** TRUTH****

Truth is its a Ford oem motorcraft part. My ipr came in factory packaging unaltered and sealed. Purchased aftermarket one before hand and lasted for a week. Truck has been sitting for 8 months, discouraged from the issues we all know 6.0s have i let sit. Knowing i replaced the ipr with a new one even though it was aftermarket i thought it couldnt be it. I purchased this motorcraft part with the idea that ill replace it and have the assurance knowing i have a genuine part in and will move onto whatever else it could be injector seals, rail seals, dummy plugs and so on. Needless to say , cranked it up in 10 seconds she fired up and idled smoother then it has in years. Bottom line , some parts save your money on , sensors go oem. Good luck with your trucks. Looks factory, doesn't act factory

Comes in a "Motorcraft" bag, installed along with doing a STC fitting. Truck started, but then ran rough once at operating temperature. Thought it was an electrical issue, finally checked high pressure oil pressure with a manual gauge found it was 2700 psi at idle. PCM was trying to command it down but couldn't. New IPR valve is faulty. Bought one from the Ford dealer. Guess that's 120 bucks down the drain for this "factory" part.Read full review...

ipr

I ordered ipr for my 2006 ford f550 super duty 6.0 diesel. Part came fast. Replaced old one. Turn ignition keys. Truck fired up right up. Excellent. Very happy. Top quality can't go wrong.

Junk

Doesn’t come in motorcraft bag just cardboard box . Plus truck didn’t start at all after installed . When trying to remove sensor came apart. Totally not right either not an oem part as advertised or just defective from point one Read full review...

It’s onay

The IPR is exactly what I needed. But the socket was hot garbage. Spread open while trying to remove old one. Had to use a crows foot socket for rest of the job.

Poor quality assembly

I had to uninstall the ipr after initially installing it due to the connector not being in a location that allowed the electrical connection. When attempting to remove the ipr it seperated into two pieces leaving the valve body still screwed in. The part containing the electomagnet came out.
Not sure what parts other than the plunger and an oring were in between but after reassembly it does not work.

IPR

I bought a cheaper ipr for my 6.0 power stroke and it wouldn't build pressure. I bought this one and it fired up. When buying parts for my truck i have learned that motor craft parts are by far the bestRead full review...

Sooner or later you'll get this one

If you own a 6.0, eventually your IPR will fail. You now have 2 options: the short way and the long way.

The short way is sucking it up, gritting your teeth and paying for a genuine part.
<br>The long way is to buy a chinese knockoff for around 30 bucks, installing it (a bit of a pain) then pull it out after a couple of months when it fails. You will then suck it up, grit your teeth and pay for the genuine part.

Good judgement comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgement.
