I bought this camera because I am new to photography and did not want to spend a fortune on a new camera. This camera is easy to use and easy to understand for a 'first time' camera. My purchase was for the camera only but I easily found a user manual on line and bought a memory card from ebay for £2.99. I have been really pleased with the quality of the prints. A brilliant camera for those wanting to take up photography as a hobby. A+

This is a cracking little camera for those who feel un-easy using a digital camera for the first time. The instructions are easy to understand & once you get to grips with all the settings it has, you can take some extremely good quality photos. The Fujifilm A400 is a nice looking camera too!
The minus sides to this, is that I find the flash (taken indoors) makes people look washed out, but by turning that setting off, will leave you with extremely good photographs. Try taking a few pictures with & without the flash, look at the results on the 'display' settings, then made your mind up. You can erase the ones you don't like, freeing up the memory-which, on certain settings will give you more than enough to capture a hen night,wedding day,evening 'do' AND morning after shots all on one card. Download, erase the silly ones, then start all over again! I also think the power button is too small & it can take a moment or so to be ready for the next shot, but for the money you pay for this camera, its all worth it.
I've already bought my son this camera & felt confident enough in it to take pictures of his 1st childs' birth-thats how much I can vouch for this camera. I've also had pictures I've taken from this camera of weddings, that have been prefered over the professional pictures!
If you really want to start taking up photography, & are unsure where to begin with cameras, I'd fully recommend this as a starter. It's pictures are crisp, its easy to understand and is also cheap.

Wanted a cheap and easy to use camera for the other half.Exceptionally easy to use.Giving good results. Good value for money.Extras like bigger cards can be found in good electrical superstores. Good Disc to use on PC to titivate pictures prior to printing or filing.
