Perfectly Suitable.
I bought these GB707 tuners for a prototype 32 inch bass with a 4-inline headstock. They have a good feel to them. Solid and firm. No flat spots on the gear, good chrome finish. They ain't much to look at by themselves, but they look rather elegant once installed.
I went with 1 1/2 inch spacing and there is plenty of room between keys.
The next decent looking tuners were more than twice as expensive. But, I've learned not to go overboard on prototypes. Read full review...
