It does the job very well.
I read many negative reviews and I don't agree with them. The only negatives are that the speakers are a bit "tinny," but I didn't buy this clock radio for high fidelity.
Also the display is very bright and there is no way to dim it. i covered it with a few layers of plastic shopping bag and that works well.
The user guide could be worded better, but I was able to follow and get the job done.

Good and Not So Good
It is new and in good shape. It works well as a clock, and it can be used as a clock radio, but the instructions and the process of setting the alarm are somewhat complicated. A couple of the controls have more than one function, and it is a bit difficult to figure out what each does in order to get the radio and/or the buzzer to work as the alarm.Read full review...

Too bright
The number display is WAY too bright. Should have a hi/lo selection to dim it. At 3am if you peak your eye open to see what time it is, you're overwhelmed by the bright red light. I'm going to have to figure out how to dim it somehow, or find a different clock. Pros: It picks up radio stations that my normal radios don't.
