GPX PCB319B CD Player with Bluetooth - Black

Great sound, great Bluetooth connectivity, great portability.

This unit works great off of battery power or off of a 4.5 Volt DC Adapter (much purchase separately but easy to find cheap). Bluetooth connectivity worked without a hitch and the sound quality is surprisingly good. My only wishes would be for it to have a Line Level Line out in addition to the headphone jack but that is a minor quibble at this price point. The LCD screen is a bit tiny and hard to read as well but it does give you battery level which is nice and it does display the 4 modes it has. One that I particularly like is the 10-second intro mode which plays the first 10 seconds of each song and then advances to the next. I use the unit on the road when shopping for used CDs at Thrift shops and this mode is great for seeing if I like a particular album. Only other minor issue I had was a little crackly noise on the volume control but a short spurt of Deoxit (electrical contact spray) cleaned that up quickly (everyone with electronics should get a can of that magical liquid). So far, no other issues with the unit. No skipping or any other issues. I would confidently buy it again. Not worth the hassle and should have been sold with all the power accessories other than just the earbuds

settings window too small and difficult to read. Unable to pair with my car audio system (Subaru). Difficult to find AC/DC power adapter cord that fits.

Loves to walk and listen to books on ‘tape’.

So far so good. I walk A LOT and carry this in my ‘belly bag’. I bought a Bluetooth headset and I’m off and...well...walking. I have so many books on tape, I didn’t have to rationalize this purchase for one minute. It’s worth it’s weight in gold to me. Read full review

Volume control doesn't work in Bluetooth mode.

Using bluetooth the volume control has no impact on volume. You must get up & walk to your stereo system or Bluetooth speaker to adjust the volume when using this unit. When Bluetooth isn't used the volume control is operational.Read full review

Fine player but hates Hondas.

Everything worked fine, EXCEPT pairing with my Hondas bluetooth....which it will not. So if you have a Honda with bluetooth, do NOT buy this CD player.

Okay with a couple of problems

Playback is fine but Bluetooth range is poor. Need to get close to the amp or headphones for pairing. Once paired works fine at a distance. No AC adapter included

I was skeptical about the blue tooth on a CD player....it works! Now I can listen to my CDs again outside with a BT speaker or headphones, perfect! It took a little time to pair but with some patience it paired.
