Junk
The GPS will not acquire a satellite. Placed next to an old model Xgody 704 GPS I drove 97 miles and the Garmin never saw a satellite. That seems to be the problem with this type GPS. I have two both sworn to be good and neither work. At least I have a power cord to charge the battery.Read full review...

Great Basic Level GPS
I like the features. Has the standard gps tracking, tells you the turn is coming up and says the street names. It has any local attractions you would ever like to find. It has the options of changing the voice.
Comes with a touch screen, easy to menus. Very much user friendly.
I highly recommend this product. Price was great. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.Read full review...
Gamin nuvi 260w GPS
I bought this GPS because my mother has the same one. In october of 09 my wife and I went to the mountains of NC and it was so easy to use that we found all the points of interest with the touch of a button. I like the ease of use that the garmin gives you. The only thing i wish this item has that some of the others have is the ability to do geocaching.Read full review...
Good deal
I bought this as a replacement GPS that was broken. Only problem was the voice was set to French which was kinda funny on the first trip with it.

Slow initial acquisition
I immediately changed the language settings to read street names which are not default. Compared to another nuvi 850 I own, this unit is much slower to initially acquire and I have even had it fail the initial time. It has caused me some awkward fumbling when I am leaving an unfamiliar area, but it's also a good deal cheaper. Still for these problems the next time I might as well invest in a model under $99.Read full review...
Excellent GPS and easy to use!
I told myself I would never buy a GPS receiver because I'm good at directions and don't really trust these things. One night I found myself in a strange area following the detour from a closed freeway, it took me awhile to get my bearings and found my way home. That week I decided I'd need the GPS for emergency. I'm not a Techie so I researched the internet and Ebay for the most user friendly, reliable model, and at a modest price. The Garmin nuvi 260W is just as I wanted, screen is easy to read and the menu is simple and easy to use, open the box and it's ready to use. I've used it a few times and so far so good, I took an extended warranty from Square Trade just in case, hope don't have to use it.Read full review...

Garmin Nuvi 260W
Good gps with lots of features, easy and simple,Other products I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the psg if you're on a budget.

Used a few times on short trips. One mistake on the map and directions up in Croton, Michigan. Otherwise it preforms flawlessly. Will be taking a longer trip to Branson Mo, later. Will be a better test. Like the unit so far. Was listed as best buy in Consumers Report magazine. So far would buy again.Read full review...
