Very easy to use!

It's great and easy to use, the only problem that you will have is if you do not update the maps. My 8 year old can use it and does!

Good for Short Trips

Garmin 260W review : Get a Tom Tom instead. Garmin voice sounds fake. GPS lags the car slightly. Annoying to have to keep acknowledging the Safety Warning every time you turn it on. Battery life is good (estimated 4 hours) but what happens if you have to go on a long trip? Hint, if you plug it into any USB power, it thinks its connected to a computer and blanks out the GPS function. So, on long trips, you have so selectively turn it on. I needed a new GPS. The seller had a new one at a great price. My last GPS was also a Garmin. They are very durable and are easy to use and have everything you need. People that use phones when they drive using their GPS navigation on their smart phones are dangerous! Garmin nuvi 260W Car GPS Receiver

I LOVE my Garmin! It was used but in perfect working condition. As this would be my first GPS unit, I researched what brand/model I wanted then went looking on Ebay. Found just what I wanted. It lives up to all the positive reviews I found about it.

It's easy to program and easy to operate. So far, it has not failed to get me where I want to go. I have used it both on car power and battery power. A fully charged battery does not last quite as long as projected, but plenty of time to get me where I need to go.

I would recommend the Garmin Nuvi 260W for any neophyte GPS user.Read full review...

Garmin Nuvi 260 W

The Nuvi 260 W offered a wide screen @ an affordable price. The 4.3 inch screen is much easier to see than the standard models. The touch screen is very user friendly and the complete spoken directions are a plus. It came with a very easy to understand quick start guide. The directions and tasks were very easy to follow. I also like the long battery life. It lasts just a little over 5 hours. I only have to charge it a couple of times a week. I would recommend this unit to anyone.Read full review...

Did not have to use the instruction book at all. just open it up, and do what you want to! Road map is easy to use, instructions are clear and easy.
