Cambelt kit
Good quality kit I replaced orginal dayco kit on a 2006 C4 1.6 hdi 94,000 miles. The original parts were like new even after the mileage and 12 years old!!! waste of time replacing it. Gates good replacement kit though.Read full review...

The part was great, but there was a key inserted which compressed the tensioner enabling an easier fitting , however this was my first time doing a cam belt and did not know what the key was for it obviously had to be removed after fitting....but just had to be sure ,realising any mistakes were not acceptable, I rang Gates, and spoke to a man who admitted he did not know what it was for and acknowledged there was no reference on the otherwise good instruction sheet.

gates cam belt kit
i always use gates cam belt kits as their the best you can get and when you fit the kit you want to fit the best,
usually its a fair bit of work to fit the cam belt kit and I always fit a new water pump as the bearing inside the pump has done the same as the pulley bearings, gates is number one and I would recommend gates to everyoneRead full review...

All seems good quality, OE spec belt, pump looks well made. No issues fitting, tensioner a different design to the original one from the vehicle but no problem fitting, just different face where it sits on the block.
