Able to start using Bissell vacuum again. Nobody seems to stock this particular filter My seller on eBay had them, and at a nice price. They were life savers. Also saved me a lot of money not having to throw out a perfectly good vacuum for lack of filter. If you run it with old clogged filter - NO SUCTION. If you run it without filter, you have suction and everything it picks up is blown around the room!Read full review...

i’ve own these before and bought three more. professional cleaner. the outside foam filter is washable. used dish detergent let it air dry. the inner paper pleated filter they say it isnt washable. i beat the hard edge of the filter and the dirt came out like lots. seemed a good idea to rinse the paper filter. i didnt use any soap. actually i didnt notice the difference in vacuuming performance before or after cleaning the filter. so if you do wash out the pleated filter, let it dry and use it the next day. no harm no foul. it is a huge rush to see all the mud coming out of the foam filter. think keeping the foam filter will extend life of filter system.Read full review...
