Happy Sister.
Replace a leaking pump for my sister with this one. She was expecting to pay 5 times what this one cost. Control unit from old pump fitted straight on to this new pump. Corroded and siezed on every use... Useless!
We bought this pump to transfer around 1000L between rainwater tanks for stock use.
It gets used for around 30 minutes, then disconnected, drained and stored between use.
EVERY damned time, it's corroded out, locked up and needs a screwdriver to force it to respin.
3 times it's been used...that's it!
I'd HATE to see what happens if you left it connected permanently. It'd be a solid block of rust in no time.
This pump is garbage. We are returning it for refund, and would never reccommend anyone purchase one. Cheap Chinese garbage!

Absolutely Useless
Very poor pump. I primed for ages trying to get the water flowing. Resorted to using a garden hose with water flowing from mains pressure pushed up the inlet pipe... no go. Then tried the garden hose with mains pressure water flowing directly into the primer opening... still no go. Pressing the palm of the hand against the pump's inlet reveals very little to zero suction. Spent hours trying to get the thing working to no avail. I guess you get what you pay for. Ideal for grey water irrigation
I use the pump for pumping grey water into my garden irrigation system. Previously I used tap water, and this pump gives me approximately the same amount of pressure and flow, so it's an easy substitute. It's not too noisy either. This item is of typical Chinese quality, it certainly appears to be made to a price...the 'User Manual' leaves a lot to be desired, the tiny graphics and text impossible to read, the metal motor housing very poorly finished, Despite the advertising and nomenclature plate on the motor stating entry and exit connection diameters being 1" (25mm) they are both 1.25" (32mm).
