Internal Mic Clamp

This is by far the least expensive way to have an internal mic set up. It took five minutes to install and it was just over $20. I highly recommend. Your mic stays in place and the guitar players can't bump into it. Get one!Read full review...

Very nice and simple mount BUT...

The Gibraltar internal microphone mount for bass drums is easily installed and adjusted. Everything stays tight and in place with no rattling or vibratory noise. My only gripe is that it is quite short, limiting some of the mic placement options that I like in my 20" bass drum. However, I simply installed a mic clip extender (3" made by Shure) which gave me back those placement options. For 24" and 26" bass drums a longer extension tube or gooseneck would be needed. Got the unit and Mic in place end then I used gaffa tape on all angle parts so there could be no extra movement. Works great and I am very happy!
