Great Price, Great Knives, Block Itself Too Tall for Under Cabinets

Best price for a great knife set. I absolutely love Global knives. The block is attractive, however I ended up giving the block (and a couple of the knives) to my daughter because it is so tall. I wanted to store the knifes under the kitchen wall cabinets and it was too tall to pull the knives out easily. I would have had to move the block every time I wanted to use a knife. She put hers next to her stove, where there is no cabinet overhead, so that worked out well. Too bad, though, because the block is much more attractive than my old block.Read full review...

Lovely knife well balanced

great knife, the only part of the design i would change is the the knife blade cutting edge rests against the surface you place the knife on. if the handle had flat edges the blade would not be touching. less chance of damage.
other wise they are a joy to use.
