It works great, a little practice is needed

I bought the variety pack and I’m pretty impressed. As expected the green is the strongest, but the blue and the orange are quite good as well. The strength and longevity of the glow is as powerful as Seiko, Rolex and even matches up well with the nuclear toothpaste used by microbrands like Helson.

Adding a small drop of water helps the flow, and application with an oiler or small screwdriver works well. It takes some practice but there is more than enough in this kit to get there. A huge help is to use white paint first, and then paint the lume on top. For flat areas, several layers of thin works well. For bezels, or work that will be exposed to the elements a drop of clear paint will help as it can be a little fragile.

Fantastic stuff!

Great product For a professional watch repair person

This is a super great product in the hands of a professional ..... The learning curve is steep the product is a little tricky to work with I gave mine to my professional watch repair person and they understood how to use it and got excellent results when I attempted to do anything I came very close to ruining a set of hands and dial ..... again when this product is in the hands of a professional got excellent results ....... I recommend highly you do not attempt this yourself the frustration the marginal results will all be disappointing ......The reality is the product is excellent again in the hands of a professionalRead full review...

EXCELENTE , this is a great product

beautiful results after you figure out the right mix, the binder is water based acrylic so a drop of warm water thins it quite nicely,
the glow easily lasts 8+ hours even without intentional charging, done a few clocks before trying a watch and the results have been great.
the binder works best when thinned , it takes a little tinkering with the mix to get it just right, apply in several thin coats rather than trying to do it all at once with some drying time between coats.

Fantastic!

This is definitely good lume! I bought it to compare to my Tritec C1, C3 and BG/W9 and this is definitely as bright! The initial brightness fades just as fast as Superluminova, which goes from super blindningly bright to just bright in minutes. It does keep a glow for many many hours. I'm not using the white wood glue type of binder though, prefer something transparent against a white painted background. This is just a matter of choice. The powders, and the syringe of patina paste are really great!Read full review...

Absolutely worth it!

I have bought this kit as a gift to my horologist. We have since repaired few of my vintage watches. He didn't know such kit exists and he is very happy with it. I am sure we will order more soon. This kit is top notch but on the other side I am unsure to recommend this to average DIY'er.Read full review...
