Go Ask Alice - a must watch

Anyone with teenagers needs to see this movie - so do the teenagers. It's a true story, taken from the diary of a teenage girl who is going through all the normal traumas of being a teen and then someone thinks it's funny to spike her drink with acid at a party and 'turn her on' to drugs. It is Alice's journey through the uproar of being a fifteen year old girl, the desire to be popular and finding out what the price of popularity really is. She finds out that drugs are not 'cool' and she finds out the hard way. It is dated, being made in the seventies, but drug addiction and all its horrors don't change. The casting and acting are excellent. If you can get the book, get that as well.Read full review...
