Good game quality for the year considering! 3D effects and first person shooting with nice mob story lines.

Good but the original was better

The original had a better storyline and good controls. This game was fun but the original was better, with better progression and filled gaps in the first movie that always made me wonder.

The Godfather II

Many consider The Godfather Part II to be a superior film to the original. It’s an argument you’ll hear in many a pub of a Friday night – but no such dispute will arise from the first and second games. Godfather II the game is a massive improvement on the first game in every way.

Following an open-world format you’ll play Dominic Corleone, taking control and managing territories in Havana, New York and Miami. Your aim is to become the most powerful Don in America – no small feat indeed – but with some clever strategising, balanced management and a few neck squeezings you could lead the family to the very top.

Although at its basics a third-person shooter, Godfather II combines driving, hand-to-hand combat and shooting missions with squad-based gameplay and the “Don’s View” strategy-type management. There’s a massive amount of freedom to take control of the city in any way you see fit, and there are so many different play styles that you’ll never get bored.

You can bring not only your own character but your personal crew over to the multiplayer game and use the skills you’ve honed in the single-player game against friends online. Up to 16 players can fight the Mafia battle to beat them all. Multiplayer also features “Don Control” where one person can be nominated from each team to lead the battle from a God view, able to traverse the whole map as a floating camera, setting waypoints, tagging enemies and doling out health armour and bombs.

There’s tons to do in the game but a word of warning – it’s not for the faint-hearted! The violence and mayhem can be a bit much if you aren’t a fan. For the rest of us, it’s time to go to the mattresses…

Warning This Game Should Be Destroyed!

If there were a lower rating than poor this is the game to use it on, Dont waste your money on this game the controls are difficult at best, game play blows and graphics are cartoon like (good thing I got it at a discount!)the first Godfather game was great EA tried to add to much junk to Godfather II and ruined it, I'll probably end up packing it up and sending it back to them with a note to destroy it so that maybe I can save some other gamer the heartache of having wasted their money!Read full review...

Overall good.

Game came in a new package, installed fine and the game runs as expected. Officially this game has been discontinued on the new EA game browser, so if you owned previous copies, it's recommended you submit this one to
Origin.

Godfathher II Great Game

I hadd to upgrade my video card, but once that was done the game worked great. A little choppy when you drive but the missions are awesome.
