Fantastic !
Winner of the mercury music prize 1998 this album is one of the best albums ever made, couldn't tell you how many times I have listened to it, I don't know anyone who dislikes it and that is rare, if you haven't already heard it don't let it pass you by.Read full review...

Bring It On by Gomez
One of the best albums of the late 90's, Bring It On should be on every road trip and in every cd rack. Gravelly vocals and swampy guitar riffs allow mini screenplays to form as you make that solo, 6 day drive across the Nullarbor Plain - Get Miles, Tijuana Lady, Get Myself Arrested: all beautiful to listen to as the sun rises through the blue bush. A classic of its day, it didn't win a mercury prize for nought.
Oh, and the Nullarbor gets 5 stars too!Read full review...
Excellent
Good CD. The guys voice is different. Everyone seems to listen to the same stuff and no one really appreciates the good stuff. Not too much that has come out recently that really blows your mind. Time to get the runs through the music you might have missed back then. People seem to be more famous when theyre dead or no longer in the business.Read full review...
Mercury Music Prize Winners 1998
Arguably one of the finest bands to have been spawned from the UK, this debut album is a MUST have for anyone who knows their music! Do yourself a favour, buy a copy of this and then continue to purchase their entire back catalogue.
Ten years on and they are still going strong, long live the gomez!

Mellow and enjoyable listening.
I usually listen to Hip Hop but fancied trying out some different types of music and had Gomez recommended to me. I decided to take a chance with a new sound and have had this on rotation in my mp3 player since I bought it.
It really mellow and I enjoy the vibe of the album especially the songs 'Get myself arrested' and 'Free to run'. I don't know anything much about alternative/indie type music and so don't have any frame of reference to compare it with any other groups/artists but as I'm a hip hop head and can't stop playing this CD it's the highest recommendation that I can give.Read full review...

This is one of my favourite albums, great tracks, top voice, still keep playing it, even got my 19 year old daughter listening to them, and my god shes fussy with what she listens to.
Gomez - Bring It On (CD 1998)
Fantastic Album, it is well worth a listen, its as good if not better than liquid skin. its well worth £3.00
A great rock CD
A strange and wonderful mix of Indie pop and Mississipi Delta Blues (almost!)
A fine variety of tunes about topics as diverse as popping into the Student Union bar in Manchester to more traditional themes of the heart and so on.
Laughs mixed with the serious.
All this with the most amazing blues voice a young Englishman could ever have.Read full review...
