HEADPINS GREATEST HITS
I first heard of Headpins in the 80's, a rock band out of Canada and supporting Whitesnake on their UK tour with a great female vocalist, so I bought "Line of fire" and was immediately impressed; Darby Mills has got a great rock voice and Brian McLeod's guitar playing was fresh and exciting, whilst the lyrics weren't brilliant, it was good old fashioned good-time rock'n'roll. This CD represents some of the great stuff that was Headpins, sounding alot better on CD than LP although the compilation guys missed out my favourite song; "I know what you're thinking" but alas they are no more; Brian McLeod sadly died of cancer some years ago. The CD is a great epitaph for him though, showing off his guitarkeyboard and even singing(!) skills and with Darby's voice it's well worth buying; Rock!Read full review...
If you like kickin' rock then get this.
Most people don't know about this group, which is a shame. If you like good rockin' with a kickass vocalist then you should check this out. They didn't get the success that they deserved. I knew of them when i lived in oregon back in 83'. Not to many people here in the northeast ever heard of them. They are from canada and i guess didn't catch on down here. I think they were great and totally overlooked. For some reason though the enhanced part of the cd for the videos only plays 2 of the 3 that are listed on it. The middle one, "staying all nite" is the one that is missing/won't play. No big deal,i bought it to listen anyway. Very happy with this cd. I have had 2 of their 3 albums for years and had them recorded to tape. This is a good collection of all 3 albums.Read full review...
Headpins CD/DVD
I am only giving this a good rating for this reason. I have always been a huge fan of the Headpins. I was excited to get this CD due to the fact it comes with 2 bonus videos. I have played this on 3 different DVD players and I have yet to be able to view the videos. The CD is great, I only wish I could pop it in my DVD and surround sound and rock out while watching the videos.

Good Title
Excellent. Great Canadian Band. Has all there greatest hits as well as as others. Such a hard CD to find.
