I bought this book for my daughter with the intention of reading it myself. When this book was released, I wanted to get a better perspective about living with diabetes and the effects it has on an individual and their families. Great book--especially for people suffering from the same disease! Mary's honesty and self assessment was refreshing. It left me amazed that she went so many years looking so healthy and fit!
