A Great Build! Waited a long time!

This is one of Guillows finest line of balsa models there is. I built the B-29 Bomber about 15 years ago. I started the B24-J about a week ago, and it has been a smooth ride all the way through. I was able to build the fuselage with no major problems, and only one 'small' problem building the left wing (the tiny pieces for the ailerons). Wood and paper aircraft

I don't know how I can rate this model accurately, as it is a wood and paper aircraft that is going to take quite some time to construct, when I actually get around to working on it. I personally would like to create the Naval Patrol version of this model, since I belonged to that community during my service years. The kit does look good and complete, but the result is going to be a long time in coming, so I can't rate this product beyond what I can see in the box. Old school model building fun

This kit has easy to understand step by step instructions and is great fun.

I like the fact that it contains both B-24D and B-24J details, so you can customize your own aircraft. I'm looking froward to cold weather and some free time to spend building a tribute model to my Dad's B-24J, which he was a crew member as bombardier/navigator.

At a 48.5 inch wingspan the size is impressive but not overwhelming.
