Guns 'n' Roses, Welcome To The Videos

First of all let me say what a great place ebay is for buying music DVD's, fantastic diversity of choice and generally unbeatable prices.
The Guns 'n' Roses DVD Welcome To The Video's is absolutely awesome, all their greatest tracks on one disc. This DVD shows one of the worlds greatest rock bands in all their various guises, from hard core full on leather clad (calm down girls!) thundering rock Gods to sensitive soulful balladeers (made that word up but I'm sure you get my drift!) For any true rock fans this is a must have addition to any collection, lets face it we will never see the likes of Axl and the boys playing on a stage near you ever again. This DVD has it all, go get rock fans

Very good DVD with only one or two minor gripes.

This DVD is a compilation of the best Guns N Roses music videos and is a must for any fan´s collection. Sadly the video for "You Could be Mine" is not included. This a great shame, but doesn´t detract from the other videos on the disc, including the excellent "Estranged", and "November Rain".

The menu system is basic but functional, and there are no extra features. This is a pity as it would have been nice to see some interviews with the band members or even a couple of "making of" videos. However, the main reason you´re looking at this product is for the music, and in this respect, it doesn´t disappoint.

All in all, a great DVD, sure it could have been better, but if you like Guns n Roses, then you simply must have this.

My thoughts on GnR's "Welcome to the Videos"

As a hardcore Gnr fan I thought it would be a cool idea to buy a dvd with all their music videos on it. When I recived the dvd I put it on straight away, but got somewhat disapointed straight away. The quality of the videos seemed a bit old-school VHS and the sound was a bit dull. It would of been better if they had remastered the videos in someway. Another disapointing thing was missing videos.. where's "You Could Be Mine", "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", "It's So Easy" and more... The design of the dvd case seemed really tacky as well. How can such a huge influential band like Guns n' Roses have such a poor video dvd release? On the plus side it has all the typical songs everyone knows so I guess it pretty much makes this collection of videos average.Read full review...

Guns N' Roses at their best!

This is simply a DVD of a selection of their videos - what you see is what you get, no hidden extras and no footage of the band. So don't expect interviews or backstage film, you will be disappointed.

What won't disappoint is seeing the band at their very best in some of the greatest rock videos of all time - my personal favorite is Paradise City, it gives me goose bumps every time I see it, and makes me wish I'd been lucky enough to see the original line up before they went their seperate ways....what a show that must have been!

Rock on to some old classics, and enjoy the more modern made-for-MTV videos for November Rain and Estranged displaying some blatant self obsession from old Axl.

LOVE you GN'R!

Good for Guns N' Roses fans

This DVD includes almost all the Guns N' Roses videos (except for It's So Easy and You Could Be Mine, which aren't that good as videos anyway) and is therefore a must-have for any Guns N' Roses fan.r>
The 'epic' videos of November Rain and Estranged are perhaps the best on here -each of them about 9 minutes long.

There are no extra features which would be cool but it is still a good DVD -everything is easily navigable and the videos are all high in quality!

So basically - a good purchase but I wouldn't pay more than about 8 or 10 pounds for it.Read full review...
