Great product poor customer service

Great product, In was disappointed to pay £6.99 for Parcelforce 24 my request for a Sat delivery was ignored and I was not replied to until Sunday after I had messaged them as to why my parcel was stuck in the York depot on Sat morning.
I was not offered the chance to pay any extra p and p to get faster post by the seller.I waited in on Saturday for nothing and could not start work on my car as I needed this accessory to bleed my brakes. It arrived on the same day it would have arrived with the free post option, because it was tracked I had to go and collect from the courier.

Far from impressed.

Eezibleed multipurpose cap.

I own a honda eezibleed dont mention on the kits there kit doesnt fit hondas toyotas and some others. Then had to by this. Lid fits on flat resevoir ok but the tie you use has nobbles on it so you are limited to there spacing. Wasnt tight enough brake fluid sprayed everywhere. Had to tighten by using tywraps under nobbles to increase pressure to tighten . Then worked. To much messing around shouldnt have to at these prices. Wasnt happy bunny. The bleeder tightening method needs a rethink. Read full review...

Ok, but....

The Gunson bleeder kit is a good tool IF you have a screw on cap/master cylinder. My experience with both of their "universal" caps has been rubbish.

Having taken considerable care making the cap seat properly on my reservoir, without brake fluid in the bleeding tool, it then failed with fluid in it and sprayed brake fluid down the back of my engine bay because the rubber strap doesn't apply even pressure on both sides.

Next day I bought a "one man" bleed bottle for £5.99, bled the brake I had fitted a new hose and caliper to, and changed the rest of the brake fluid in the whole system.

Failed to deliver

The product does not fit the bill at all, whilst it is recommended for unconventional reservoir sizes, it is not fit for purpose. It fails to make the right seal and you end up with Brake Fluid all over the engine bay.Read full review...

Useless and heres my experience

Well made item but it was totally useless in its job. I needed it for a Nissan figaro which has an oversized brake reservoir cap. I'm a maintenance engineer with over 40yrs of experience and I couldn't get it to seal. I even tried an F-clamp but again not seal. I feel the issue is the material that is expected to make the seal is high density foam when maybe it should be a rubber/silicone gasket material. Whatever, its a total flop and I got job done with a 2nd person on the brake pedal. I expected better of Gunson!Read full review...

Waste of money

Purchased for bleeding the brakes on my classic car; I needed this piece as the master cylinder was larger than the caps supplied with the Eezibleed kit.
Despite the master cylinder being new, the item wouldn’t seal properly and allowed brake fluid to leak all over the area that I had nicely cleaned and painted owing to years of brake fluid corrosion! Very annoying but thankfully I am now using a DOT5 silicone brake fluid, to prevent further damage.
Also I feel that because the seal is a sponge type rubber it is slightly porous allowing leakage, as opposed to a solid rubber seal as fitted to the caps in the kit.
I overcame the faulty item by modifying an old master cylinder cap, which was much more effective.
Another gripe when using this item is that you have to cut the existing filler cap hose to allow fitting, as it it not just a straight swap.
Shame really as it wasn’t cheap.

Did not work on this occasion

In theory it looks like it should work. But in reality it does not. The method to attach the cap to the (square) master cylinder has to be an even pressure to make a good seal, without that it is useless. I spent ages to trying to seat this cap without air leaking out. eventually had to give up.Read full review...

Ok when seal is made but can be tricky.

Making a seal was quite tricky with the rubber strap was not quite good enough I used two F clamps to secure the cap evenly to the brake reservoir otherwise DOT 4 would spay out.

Waste of money

Almost as expensive as the eezibleed kit itself! Wasn't compatible with the brake reservoir on my wife's kia sportage, wouldn't hold the pressure kept squirting brake fluid all over the engine bay, very unhappyRead full review...
