Solid Construction
A solid, well built unit, with well protected blades. Accurate...I checked it against the AWOS system at an airport, (the very accurate, Automated Weather Observation System that pilots depend on for flight safety). The peak hod feature was most helpful too. I liked the use of AAA batteries instead of Li Ion button batteries. The included carrying case is okay for scratch resistance, but if you plan on lot's of use then have a well padded case made at an upholstery shop...I did, or use one of your wife's old clutch purses!Read full review...

I know little about digital anemometers but I needed to measure the air velocity of floor fans so this unit was moderately priced for the features it had. A good way to check wind speed and temp.
Took the unit out to check wind speeds on some land I was looking to buy. It worked great and I was able to find out if wind turbines would work in that area.

As far as I can see, it's accurate and even though it is made by plastic, it seems to be of good quality. There's batteries in the box, however, the screws for the battery slot is tiny, so you'll need something tiny to open it.
