If you're going to do your own guitar setups or do setups as a hobby or even become a guitar tech, follow the old saying cry once and buy the good tools first, like they say tools are an investment and you will thank yourself later. Right too for the job

I'm at a point in my life where I don't like to waste time in the shop by using sub standard tools. These are good files and they do a good job of cutting round bottom slots that match the diameter of the strings in any guitar/mandolin I build.
