Great Monitor

So far as I am concerned, the 2009 class (year) HP monitors are as good as it gets.
We currently have two of them, a 20-inch 2009m and a 21.5-inch 2159m.
To my eye, colors render perfectly and images look great.
We do lots of photo editing and manipulating and these monitors excell at that.
I would buy another in a heartbeat and would have to be really convinced to try anything else.Read full review...

HP 2009M

This monitor I use in my recording studio--as a dual split screen. The color quality is movie perfect and the monitor is crisp and clean, It plays blu ray movies with 3D Like picture and when I use it to mix down or do tracks it displays everything with clarity and sharpness. These monitors sell new for $148 and I will eventually get the 24' ones and move up. They are also wall mountable and HP makes them worry free and so far they work like a charm.
I reccomend these before a DELL. For the money you cannot go wrong. And for gaming--they rock!!!

Bottom line is, you get way more for your buck, you wont sacrifice anything

I bought this product originally as a replacement to a Similar size Dell Lcd Display.

When I finally got it, and Hooked up all the cables,The picture quality was so crisp, and the colors were so bright, and clear.

What i really liked about this display , was the built-in speakers, and its has a decent sound quality.

I even went further to check out some games, and see how they would perform. The quality of games was better than the previous display, never have I seen graphics so well defined.

Its like a Whole New way to view all of your media.

Startling - Sexy - Smooth

I had added the 2159 to one of my Amazon wish lists almost a year ago, never expecting to see its close sibling on sale at this price...

I know some people cannot wrap their heads around the idea that glass actually reflects - the glare really gets to them - I would submit this as being a minor nuisance. I can easily remember the $200-off, $799 "sale" price on my Apple 20" Cinema Display as being a bargain at the time. Going back a lot further, my first real monitor purchase was a Gateway2000 17" CRT that carried a heft of 63 pounds. Be grateful for tender mercies....

If clear, bright and rich color is what you're after, then this monitor (as well as the 2159 and 2010 in the same series) are exactly what will get the job done.Read full review...

Excellent, beautiful and #1

I purchased a Dell 20" monitor 2 weeks earlier for same price; comparing both this one (HP) is way far better; this one has included speakers, so no need to add extra ones; image quality is very good; however the only turn off of this is the way all my images look distorted on their width; same that happens with the Dell one; so went to check on the manufacturer website and learn that in order to obtain a normal image that is not distorted you need a better graphics card on your computer; so that's what I will do. But overall I recommend this monitor; a great value for what you're paying.Read full review...
