Buy expired HP plotter ink, it is much better than 3rd party refills

Expired HP ink, even more than 10 years old, still works and prints like new. It is available for very low cost compared to non-expired ink, and is still superior to any 3rd party refills, which can clog your expensive printheads.Read full review...

Not new in box, but still a value for our purposes

The listing reads "new in box", and while we knew the box was opened, we did not expect the vacuum sealed wrapper within to be open. This print head was not sealed. In fact, it appeared used (although it seems to be full of ink). I say this because it was not sealed and there was some dried ink around the port. All of that said, it solved our ink cartridge problem and that is what we wanted to achieve.Read full review...

Good Value

What I love is that it works regardless of expiration date. However, this is not without issues. HP dates the printheads so that at a given time regardless of number of copies made it will go from Good to Fair to Poor (see printer ToolBox for info). Use the printer toolbox to check the printhead condition. Note that it is less than Good (if printhead has passed expiration date). If you turn your computer time back to year previous to expiration, install the expired printhead, turn the printer off, then turn it on and now check the Printhead Health ... it is now Good. Hmmmm. Change the computer date back to the correct date. Check again and see that it is still Good. However, if you turn off the printer and back on the printhead will report as Fair or Poor. This is because the printer checks the date to determine health not the number of copies. This is HP's way of selling goods to you when they are not needed. What a way to cheat customers. I believe that printheads are good for 15,000 copies. That is 30 reams of paper. That is about 300 copies a day for an enitire year. Then if the copies are still good, why replace the printheads?Read full review...

Good if you have a functioning printer...otherwise buy new non-HP printer

This cartridge is the only color that HP still sells...and the price can easily be beat on ebay.

If you have a printer that uses this cartridge, you most likely will need cyan, magenta and yellow in the future as well. HP says "Sorry, discontinued". HP sucks! Buy replacements on ebay or other sources on the internet. Then, when supplies dry up, never buy another HP printer again!

Other reasons to avoid HP printers: expiration dates on cartridges (even when nearly full), print heads that need regular replacement (at ridiculous prices), high rate of failure of internal structural components made from plastics (I've "re-engineered" a couple of parts starting early in the ownership cycle just to keep the printer alive).

Seriously, for the price of replacement cartridges and print heads, I could have bought new printers several times over. And the internal structural deficiencies only make the product worse if you don't have the where-with-all to do mechanical repairs.

Do yourself a favor and avoid HP printers at all cost...you will benefit in the long run.

HP 15 BLACK (NOIR) INK CARTRIDGES ARE A GOOD VALUE AND DEPENDABLE.

THIS IS FOR MY HP 15 (C6515D) BLACK INK CARTRIDGE FOR MY PSC 750. BETTER THEN THE ONES YOU BUY WHEN THEY FIRST STARTED MAKING THE ALL IN ONE. TIGHTER INK CONTROL, LINKS, NO RUNNING OF INK, MAKES PERFECT COPIES OF DOCUMENTS, AND PICTURES. ALSO, IT LASTS LONGER THEN THE ONES YOU BUY IN YEAR OF 2004. ALSO BUYING THEM ON EBAY MAKES IT ALL MORE AFFORDABLE, TOO.

EASY TO INSTALL IN PRINTER, AND CAN BE RECYCLED TOO WHEN THEY ARE EMPTIED. BOTTOM LINE NEW CARTRIDGES IS THE WAY TO GO AND A GOOD BARGAIN TOO.

"New Cartridge"

Its getting harder to find these. One cartridge gives me another couple of months worth of use in my well used plotter. Cartridge was as stated: new, in original packaging, and completely sealed.

his ink is a Genuine HP product which is required for reliable operation

This ink is a Genuine HP product which is required for reliable operation in my HP Printer. Using "refils" caused major problems, which, fortunately, I was able to find the parts and install them.

Great value....most of the time

Generally, I have experienced favorable outcomes when purchasing these cartridges. Most of the time they have been out of date for some time. However, I have found most of them still serviceable. I will continue to purchase these carts as long as I continue having positive experiences.Read full review...
