Buy New Printers with Ink

New HP printers come with "Setup Ink Cartridges", Printer will not accept non-HP ink. Purchasing Printers without ink does not save you any money.
HP 6978 is a fine printer with many features, and I would recommend it. But always buy a printer new, not without ink or used. Printer cost are very reasonable today. Thank You HPRead full review...

Very good printer for all home use.

The printer works well and does everything that it's supposed to do. The overall quality is very good. My only issue with it was in the setup. Great All-in-One Printer!

This is a terrific home office machine, and on sale, at a terrific price. Easy set up, fast printing, with very good quality.
I bought this this newer HP OfficeJet PRO 6978 for my wife's home office work. I've had an HP OfficeJet 8600 for many years (it's still working flawlessly), so I also anticipate HP's dependable long-term durability.
The new 6978 has the same general shape and layout as the 8600, but the new 6978 is less bulky, lighter, smaller footprint, and has faster processing, better touchscreen, faster printing, and great quality printouts (all at a lower price!). Duplex function (front & back) works great.
It uses 4 separate ink color cartridges, and works perfectly even with non-HP brand replacement cartridges (I am very happy with ink cartridge replacements from 123inkxxxx, at fraction of cost of HP brand cartridges).
