good apart from lthe setup bug

Bought it fro my wife (she is using all those Instagrams and other Facebooks). I chose to set up an email account later, and had to fight with a bug: could not log into her hotmail account. Figured out how to reset the phone using special Micro$oft software, had to find a Windows computer (not easy for a linux user like me). Once this bug is fixed, no others were found. Not bad for the money, easy to use

Ok phone. Durable but as most phones these days I would hightly recommend to purchase a better than average protective case. This is the fourth HTC 8x Ive owned but that's only because I work in a rough, wet environment and I like how with a simple switch of the card I can carry on with another phone. I do not like the fact that the battery can not be changed out and with age the charge span does diminish quite a bit but overall I am happy with this phone.Read full review...

Good phone, great operating system, minor problem with sound.

overall Phone is good, I love the Windows operating system as it is very easy to use, about the only problem I have encountered is that the sound will mysteriously shut off by itself thus missing text messaging or phone calls, but really not that often.Read full review...

HTC killed android phones with this windows 8x. Forget iphone

Beautiful phone, nice body design, light weight. Every thing about the phone is great, easy to navigate and customize, it has almost all the apps at least the most essential ones not much difference with androids, you can't have all the apps in the world. keep in mind it does require a micro sim card though, had to cut my normal/mini sim card with scissors just to get it to fit into the micro sim card slot. camera is great too, love it , love it , love it. LOVE my new phone

So much lighter than I expected - very thin! Absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out. The system is really easy to use and the set up for work email is the best there is out there.

HTC Windows 8 ATT phone

If you want a basic windows phone then you will be happy. But messenger opens very slow or not at all. And you don't know when you will get the upgrade to 8.1.
