Iphone Killer

I would like to begin with informing you that I am a technology business owner. I am always looking for a ways to be more efficient and be a step ahead of the game. With that, I can begin giving my review of this phone coming from a BB and Ipod Touch user prospective. I did not give this phone a excellent rating because of battery life and touch screen keyboard learning curve. The android market is growing and you can pretty much find everything you truly need. I used use my Ipod touch for web, email, music, and games; but now it has been collecting dust. The evo is a sprint equivalent if not better of the iphone. You get great service and pay less for the plan considering the 10 dollar fee for 4g. The areas of 4g are becoming more available in major areas. When I am home I use the WI-FI on my network when ever available. Just remember to close and turn off apps and services when not in use and you will do fine with the battery life. Coming from a BB, I have been adjusting to the touch screen keyboard even though i have an Ipod touch, I did not use it as much as I am using the evo for multimedia. Why is it better than the iphone? in my opinion it is the flexibility of freedom; not being tied down to apple services. The world is multidimensional and there for should be technology that helps us become more efficient humans. I can use the web without having problems with flash content or problems viewing video, unlike the ipod touch and iphone. I loved and used my blackberry religiously for 4 years until I became busier and needed more more to do more. Blackberry finally came out with the torch which has everything I and any other blackberry user would want; but they tied themselves with AT&T ONLY. Evo has the android system which can be found on all carriers including variants of the evo with different names. Like I said; Freedom. Well, as long as you can get used to the touch screen and get yourself a car charger; your choice is golden. The phone is ready for the future, HDMI, Hotspot, 4G, and more.Read full review...

performs everytime, great value for the money, you wont be dissapointed

The HTC Inspire is an affordable smartphone that does it all. When compared to its opponent the iphone it meets or surpasses its abilities. The larger screen and HD view makes the phone a pleasure to look at, browse the web, or watch videos. It is fast, no crashes or lock ups that I have experienced in the time ive owned it, and does everything I need it to do.

The only down fall to the phone is it lacks a few features newer phones now have (Like its cousin, the evo/thunderbolt) There is no front facing camera, The lock on the front screen is a touch too sensitive for my liking, If im not careful ill unlock the phone pulling it out of my pocket, and the rear camera bulges out off the back of the phone a bit. All things that are only a slight inconvenience in comparison to how the phone performs.

HTC EVO 4G SPRINT AAA +

My son who is 19 and works atHome Depot has shown me all of the uses he has for this phone. once you figure out all that it is capable of doing by watching YOUTUBE ! It is hard to imagine life without it. This phone can be taylored to do anything you want it to ! The only limitation are the ones you put on yourself due to lack of knowledge and lack ability to act on the features at your availibility . Sports, Timer, Weather, Day Timmer, Alarm Clock, huge screen . The scree is big and you can even adjust the sensitivity of the screen. I said all of that to say this ! I am 51 and I still get along fine with my Blackberry ! But if you live with your phone and Text, talk, Take Pics, scheduleing, Internet Brouse, save pics, This phone does it all and with preium resolution pics on the screen. If you are a cell phone junkie....you got to save can or do what ever it takes to get this phone. I am going to be really picky here and tell you what I have noticed and from listening to my son. This is a tough phone and will take small amounts of minor abuse ; it is a little short on battery life ; and last but not really a draw back if you show on the go presentations or for that matter watch movies or instruction for jobs / projects from your phone ; it is highly visiable and the biggest phone out there especially when you buy the bigger battery and door for a few dollar and you are good to go with your true hand held Wi-Fi computer & phone.....lol you can even run you laptop off this phone : ) with a little tweaking here and there !Read full review...

Excellent phone, just battery life not so good...

First I want to say that the battery life is not good. I love the fact that the phone is very big, and I can't ever lose it:)
Large screen, very nice features, a little hard to slide when I want to answer the phone. It really is a smart phone. I got it used, but if I had to get it all over again, I would get it brand new. Compare to other phones? I had many phones, small, medium, slide, touch screen, etc... This is the best one yet. Overall, great phone, again the battery life just stinks. Sorry. Have a nice day.Read full review...

Evo...Good Phone

I like this phone a lot. I was a palm pre user from when it was first released and still would like to return to WebOs, but the HTC Evo has some really great features. Love the big screen, good voice quality, love the voice dialing. Love most things about it actually. Only Downside battery life. It's a smartphone most can't go for more than a day or two, but if your a heavy user like me you'll either want the extended battery, or a spare for your work day. Other than that I would say it is still one of the top 5 best phones on the market a whole year after it was released.Read full review...

Overall a great phone!

I bought this phone because i wanted an upgrade from my HTC Touch pro 2, that was a great phone, but it wasn't the latest thing. I needed something a lot faster with a bigger screen and something that ran off of android. I found it. The android market has so many apps to choose from. This phone helps me out whether i'm sending someone a quick text, or using the torque app in my auto class to do an obdII test. The downside i see to this phone is the battery life, but then again, it's got a huge screen!
I read lots of reviews about this phone before buying it, saw a few youtube videos, and i completely agree that it's better than the Iphone 4g.

good value for the price

this is the forerunner of the htc sensation and amaze.its a very nice phone with lots of features, better than basic but not the features of the newer high dollar phones currently on the market, but your not paying the price either.so if your looking for good basic phone with your better than basic features, talk to text, decent camera, wifi, bluetooth, decent screen size that automatically rotates, and others, this will do it.battery life is not great, but about the same as most of the others, will get you thru the day unless your are spending a lot of time on it then you will probably want to pick up another battery and take it with you and keep a charger handy.Read full review...

excellent phone. has hack me written all over it. very stable.

excellent phone. i was able to root the unit and use a battery calibration utility to extend my battery life.
before root my standby was less than 20 hours and now my standby time is over 3 days. also in call time increased from just a couple of hours to about 6+.
however as with all smartphones. 3g/4g/gps/wifi drains battery and keeping everything other than wifi off, helps. also the mobile/3g/4g antenna is located at the back bottom and dropping the phone, if even by mistake will screw up your reception quality. to avoid. use a good cover.

Great Product, Crappy Battery

I love this phone and I wanted a bigger screen compared to my previous iPhone. Switching from Apple to Droid I was very impressed at how easy it was to get used to the operating system. I love how it runs and I love the huge screen on the phone. The battery life sucks, but it is pretty common with a phone with a screen as big as this one. So I just have chargers laying around everywhere and I charge it maybe once or twice a day to keep it running all day. So, if charging doesn't bother you, get this phone. If you need a phone that can run off one battery charge all day, find something else. Overall, I have been very impressed with this phone and I dont think I could ever go back to my iPhone without being disapointed.Read full review...

Awesome Smartphone! :-)

I really like this smartphone. It is loaded with lots of great features. Thè main feature I miss is the front facing camera but its camera is wonderful at taking very good, crisp, clear pictures. It isn't really simple to use but it is easy to learn how to use it effectively. All-in-all' I'm very satisfied with my purchase as it was a real bargain. I have made several purchases from this seller and I will continue to do so.Read full review...
