Brilliantly written!!

The book has an excellent balance of several "Halo" aspects, including background, combat, training, and even love. The book engages the reader by following the perspectives of several individuals in the book, both human and Covenant, and gives insight into the views of each species by describing their own personal beliefs and their social beliefs, as well as expressing their ignorance of each's respective enemy.

This is a fantastic book and does an excellent job of portraying the first encounters of humans and Covenants! I recommend this book to Halo fans everywhere!Read full review...
