Great basic repeater controller!!
I was planning on putting a repeater up on the third floor of my house, so I ordered a CDM750 and used a Maxtrac I had lying around, after I ordered the controller, Hurricane Michael hit the coast where I live, I came back down to survey the damage and the next day the ID-O-Matic arrived, programmed up the CDM for repeater receive, programmed my callsign In the controller (which was a breeze with the putty software) and put it on the air, there are no repeaters in my area you can hit with a handheld, but this changed everything, I plan on getting a frequency coordination after the recovery operations are over here, but in the mean time, HAM volunteers are using my repeater to communicate out of the disaster zones, This purchase has paid for its self 10 times over, and helped many families find out information from their loved ones which has been priceless. I just put my (WQJK414) GMRS repeater on the air a few days ago. I couldn't wait to receive this repeater controller. I received it today, and immediately put it into service. It works right out of the package. The Id-o-matic is a plug and play for my gr500 repeater I didn't. Have to program it the seller set it up to what you want it also comes with a USB cable so you can reprogram it your self I like it a lot like I said plug and play with voice and that it's thanks kc9dtoRead full review...
