A Cute, Fun Film For the Family.

Happy Feet is a cute fun film the entire family can enjoy. The movie is full of humor that will be appreciated by old and young alike while the music will appeal to audiences of all ages. The animation here is top notch and the voice overs are some of the best in the business featuring talent from Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman, and Nicole Kidman. The movie even won an Academy Award for best animated film. The only reason I don't give the film a perfect rating is because there is quite a bit of propaganda towards the end concerning environmental protection and global warming which tends to damper the easy going mood that prevails for most of the movie. All things in consideration, Happy Feet should be an easy choice is you or your family, especially if you enjoy the animated genre.Read full review...

Happy Feet HD

Having one of the greatest up-and-coming action directors (the "Mad Max" films, the best sequence from "Twilight Zone- The Movie") suddenly quit following the death of his filmmaking partner, then come back making "children's films for adults" (the "Babe" films and now "Happy Feet") is the real story here, and the reason I purchased the original standard DVD of "Happy Feet". In its editing and angle selections, it's clear that Miller has lost none of his action abilities, every sequence involving movement is thrillingly done. With the HD, the depth of his vision becomes clear, to the extent that this film can actually make the viewer experience cold-- it was over 90 degrees when we watched it, and we still felt chills. With characterization and plot, Miller still maintains his simplistic black-and-white approach to things, while getting as much out of everybody and everything as possible. I'd love to see him get back into action films, but if he chooses to continue in his current vein, I don't see how anybody is going to be doing it any better.Read full review...

Not happy

This is the second dvd I’ve bought. The first one was all scratched and this one just won’t play. Wasted money for me. Both are in the garbage.

EXCELLENT MOVIE

Great Movie for everyone. This is a cute penguin movie about singing and tap dancing. Will be interesting and fun for everyone in all ages. Is about this penguin, mumble, that grew up not knowing how to sing but instead he knows how to tap dancing. Others finally realize that tap dancing is just as important as singing.
