Fraction and Aja produced the best comic in recent years

While it took me a couple of reads to really get what kind of story Fraction and Aja were trying to tell, once I got it, I was subliminally blown away and compelled to reread. I was expecting a semi-snarky tale of Clint (and Kate) on their downtime. This is so much more. Things get even better with TPB vol. 2. Vol. 3 follows Kate to L.A. and suffers a bit without Aja, but the brilliance of Fraction and Aja return for Vol. 4 as the focus returns to Clint and ends the run with a bang. If you are looking for (or not even looking for) a break from the traditional superhero comics, Fraction and Aja truly rise above the genre for some epic storytelling.
