Brand New for Great Price
Super deal on a top rated trailer brake controller. I have previously used Hayes controllers that are proportional through the hydraulic system, and they all worked very well. But, that type is not compatible with ABS brakes. This all electronic controller retains the manual slide that allows independent control of the trailer brakes which I consider a very valuable feature.Read full review

Controller is good...installation is a pain!
This is a good brake controller, but be aware that Hayes does not make a plug & play harness to fit their controller. I had to order a harness made for my Jeep Cherokee to a Tekonsha controller, and cut the Tekonsha plug end off, and hardwire it to this controller. Hayes needs to build different harnesses for this controller to fit common vehicles as other manufactures do.Read full review
