Lightweight with great features
Great little pair of secateurs, very easy to handle and use, nice and sharp brilliant. This is the second pair I have purchased as my husband whipped the other pair

Need two hands to unlock - can't thumb open so this stays safely closed when not in use
Very happy with this pair of snips for several reasons. The lock can't be thumbed open which practically guarantees these going to stay safely closed until I use both hands to open for use (one to hold the grips and the other to flip the locking bit open); the snips are lightweight but sturdy and the blades are sharp enough straight from the packaging to make clean cuts (dead-heading and tidying) and then cut open the next bag of compost. The grips are ridged hard plastic which I feel gives me more control and a better sense of where the blades are in close work than they would be if cushioned and meant for longer cutting sessions. All in these are just exactly what I needed, I'm glad I bought them.Read full review...

Cheap but not chatty!
These pruners are light but not flimsy. Yet they are definitely excellent quality because they have the thinner, longer blades and, are very sharp. The cutting action is smooth and effective. However, they do struggle with broader stems, so are better suited to light, intricate pruning or cutting flower stems for display. I would recommend them as excellent value for money, as they are cheap but definitely not chatty!Read full review...

Lightweight and sharp
These are very lightweight and very sharp, ideal for light deadheading. Much quicker and easier for old hands (like mine) than my Felco's. If you have big meaty hands and try to cut a thick stem you might well break them but for me I like them very much.Read full review...
