It's better than okay
The quality is what we have become accustomed to seeing. If it were the old stainless steel of the older days it would be heftier and feel sturdier. It looks to be decently made. It does the job that it is designed to do well. And if you are into using a rice machine that actually cooks something more "exotic" than American white rice you will want a device like this or similar.
The designation of "Japanese" is a little bit of a deliberate misnomer. It is Chinese made and of a somewhat different design than actual Japanese ones. But these are cheaper to buy than real Japanese rice and vegetables washers.
In short, I am happy with it although I do wonder if I had spent the money to buy an actual Japanese one would I have been happier or even perhaps delighted.Read full review...
